Are Members Allowed To Run For More Than 1 Position In An Election?

The short answer is: yes, they can - We wouldn’t recommend that exec members actually hold more than 1 position though due to the workload and time commitments alongside studies. The core exec roles (which are president, treasurer and secretary) also are not permitted to be held by any of the same people - they must be three different people.

If a member runs for more than 1 position in an election and also wins more than 1 position, we would ask them which role they would prefer to take. The role(s) not selected would then either be offered to the second placed candidate(s), or if there were no other candidates or RON was elected, re-open the position(s) to be re-elected.
