What are the possible outcomes of a SAAC appeal?

Once the Academic Appeal Review Panel have reviewed your case, you will receive their decision with one of the below possible outcomes:


  • The appeal is upheld and your case is referred back to the appropriate party
  • Exceptionally, your case will be referred to a full meeting of the SAAC
  • No grounds for appeal are found and your appeal is dismissed, at this point you will be provided with a Completion of Procedures (COP) letter and notified that you can appeal to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIAHE)
