How Do We Buy Stash For Our Group?

When thinking about buying stash for your group, we would ask that you shop around and consider at least three companies before making the choice that suits you best.

Once you’ve decided on the company, you can start asking members to buy the stash, noting that exec members can use student group funds to purchase one item of clothing/stash per year. Outside of this, exec members must also pay.

To start selling the stash, you’ll have to set it up as an event on the SU website (the start and end time can be the dates you want the stash to be available to buy). You can then add tickets for different options that are available (if you’re having hoodies, t-shirts etc). 

Once the tickets are set up with the pricing (don’t forget VAT so take a look at the “How Does VAT Affect Our Group” article). You can also add a questionnaire questions to ask things like sizes, colour preferences etc. You won’t be able to see the questionnaire responses though, so once the sales have closed you will have to get in touch with the ASK Team and we’ll download and send you the responses so you can then see how many hoodies of x size, or t-shirts of y size you need to order.
