How To Gain Access To The SU Dashboard For Your Group

Student Group Execs have admin access to their group’s page on our website; from here you can view members, send emails out to let members know about any upcoming events / activities that your group is arranging, set up events and sell tickets, amongst other things.

To access the dashboard, you will need to have been elected onto the exec of the group, and you must also have an active membership to the group on the SU website. If you don’t have an active membership, you can join the group by searching for it here to renew your membership.

The ASK Team updates exec dashboard access (assuming they all have an active group membership) over the summer as part of the re-registration process when groups confirm their committee members for the upcoming academic year. If a group carries out an online election on our website, the ASK Team also updates the exec access once voting is closed and the winners are confirmed.

If you find that a member of your exec does not have access because they did not have membership to the group over the summer, you will need to submit a request here

If your group carries out an in-person election at a General Meeting or AGM during the year, please contact us with a copy of the meeting minutes, and a list of the exec positions, the name and email address of the winners so we can update the website and give them the admin access needed.

Once admin access is handed over to the new exec this will remove the access from the outgoing exec, so if you are having a long handover period you might want to let us know the date that you are happy for them to take over the dashboard access and for the outgoing exec to lose their access.

When the new exec are ready to get started, we do have a handy guide to enable you to get used to using the dashboard functions: Dashboard Guide
