If you have signed up for membership for a Student Group and have heard nothing from them since, you may begin to wonder if the group is inactive. Sometimes academic and other commitments can get in the way of the exec being able to fulfil their duties and/or the demand for the group might wain between different academic years.
We would recommend that you try to reach out to the exec in multiple ways. These may include:
- Emailing their student group email address (if applicable)
- Contacting their social media, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok etc.
If you have received no response within 15 working days, then get in touch with us. We will email the exec on your behalf and ask them to reach out to their members. We will also contact you with next steps; If a group is confirmed to be inactive, we may offer you a refund for membership or ask if you would like to reinstate the group.
